A real outdoorsman. A good imagination.

It started with a t-shirt his wife bought him: a plain picture of Bigfoot, a fishing pole, and a fish. It became his favourite shirt.

29 Tides began with Evan Hightower’s life around the water and his love of the stories that come with it. His Coast Guard and marine law-enforcement background, years of fishing, and fascination with science fiction and local legends all meet here.

After retiring, Evan turned that mix into outdoor-inspired art: fish tales, wild places, familiar adventures and a little of the unknown. The result should feel like something shared around a campfire, not a costume for someone else’s lifestyle.

The nameThe 29 comes from Evan’s sheriff’s-office ID. Tides ties the name to Florida and a life around the water.

The chart room

Every file is pinned to the water it came from.

Nothing here is filed to a generic place. Each design carries the water, the coordinate and the status it was filed under — and the chart is where you can stand back and see all of it at once. Find a river you know, and see what has been recorded there.
